Boone's shooting Harland in the head. Why?
My companion seems to hate ghouls or something, but I tried walking over where Harland is to ask him again where to find his girlfriend for him, and Boone just shot his head off like some ghoul hater.

Was that supposed to happen?

You're not supposed to approach Harland. The deal is that you're supposed to find his girlfriend and he'll let you have access to the computer. Doing otherwise is seen as reneging on the deal.

Ive had that happen. Ive killed Harland myself.

You're not supposed to approach Harland. The deal is that you're supposed to find his girlfriend and he'll let you have access to the computer. Doing otherwise is seen as reneging on the deal.

yeah if you enter his zone before finding his GF he becomes hostile, as per dialog.
