Stuck in rock faces

When climbing around on rocks I repeatedly get stuck, meaning I can turn in most directions but can't otherwise move. The only way out is to load a saved game. I searched the discussions and didn't see anything about this as a known bug with a solution. Anyone know what to do if this happens?

Hit “tilde” then type tlc. Move to a new position and hit “tilde”again. To disable tlc repeat the same thing.

Keep in mind that if you use the console you cannot get achievements during that session. If you're worried about them, then you should do the above to get unstuck, then save, quit (the game entirely, not just to the main menu), and restart/load.

Also, you can't just quick travel somewhere?

Fast travel is another solution if you can kill everything in the region, only really fall into rocks in honest hearts, not alot of rocks I climb on in the other areas.

Fallout 4 will actively grab my character and throw him into rocks.

you can force fast travel with COC goodsprings. which will move your character to goodsprings.

I’m pretty sure it’s something to do with saving? I know that saving resets your position. which is why you can fall then quicksave and load to take no fall damage

Thank you. I tried saving, had enemies nearby, and didn't know how to force fast travel. Good to know about the achievements. All replies much appreciated!
(It's crazy that Fallout 4 does that.)
