Game crashing, how to install Dust mod?

So my game has been crashing everytime I leave Doc Mitchel's house. I've deleted all saves, un and reinstalled the game plenty of times, deleted mods, but nothing works. It always crashes.

On the other hand, I'm having trouble installing the Dust mod for New Vegas. I've done it manually, and using Nexus mod manager. If someone could give me a guide I'd be really grateful.

you should first make the game stable, then worry about installing mods after that, have you installed the stability mods in the pinned post ?

Can't even install New Vegas Anti Crash:

to be honest i have never had trouble with new vegas, i just install the mods and can play for hours just fine, so idk what the issue could be

You may have a processor that isn't up to the task. When you leave Doc Mitchell's house the game fires off a large amount of scripts at once, which can overtax the game resulting in a crash.

What sort of specs are you running?
