I cant repair armor?

When i try to repair my gannon family tesla power armor which is at CND 0 with other medium level armors but the repair option is greyed out. why? is there any way to repair my gannon family
tesla armor without spending tons of caps?

I assume you do have the jury rigging perk?

I may be wrong, but I don't think the class of armor has an effect on repairing them, as long as they're all the same general type of armor. Even though the other kinds of power armor are in a different weight class then the the on you're using, they're all power armor. So get some other kinds of power armor and use them for repair work.

It's repaired with medium armor.

Its repaired with remnant armour only.
(Unless you have the Jury rigging perk then u can use any medium class armour)
