Faction armor?
In my attempt to not get the Legion angry at me, an attempt I failed, I aquired some nice trooper armor. Seeing as I am already vilified with the legion, I will already be shot at by them until ol' Ceaser decides he needs me.

But, thanks to boulder city, I am accepted by the Khans. This character has not met mr. House yet or actually made it to New Vegas. Will all the major factions I made friends with (besides the NCR ofcourse) and will potentially make friends with take pock shots at me if I wear this cool trooper armor?

I have Boone wearing it now, but he would probably do better with my combat armor. The trooper armor is strong and looks like what a wanderer/explorer/gunslinger type would wear, but I don't want to really get on everybodies bad side, especially at level 11.

I don't generally wear faction armor because it constantly reminds you that you were wearing it in the corner of the game and causes occasional issues when gaining faction rep while wearing it.

Fiends will always shoot you on sight, Legion will always shoot you on sight if you have Boone

NCR has issues with the khans and the brotherhood unsure how it works in game wearing NCR armor is asking for trouble.

I'm not sure about khans but brotherhood, legion, powder gangers will attack on sight. I'm not sure about Jacobstown or kings but they might attack on sight too.

Think I will just save it for later in the game, when I surely wont need it.

Seeing as the legion will surely srnd assasins after me, I decided it might be wise to keep one of these op companions with me until I am strong enough to handle them,:steamfacepalm:

Faction Armor doesn't always act as it should. Just for fun I dressed up as a legionier and attacked Khans at their base. I wanted to see if it made them hostile to the Legion. It didn't.

One funny thing about it was when a Khan asked me "Why did they leave you in charge?"
I couldn't answer him so I just shot him. :)

Faction armour was never advertised to act like that. You put it on and get the general rep of that faction in relation to others, but any rep you change while dressed like that stays with you personally. It was never implied otherwise
