Leg is shown to be broken - Refuses to heal however

After seemingly breaking my leg in an unfortunate incident involving a pile of dead Fiends, I seemed to have hurt my leg. However it didnt seem to heal. I have:

-Tried using a Doctors Bag
-Tried using a Stimpack
-Tried consulting the Local Doctor
-Tried sleeping it off

And none of these things have worked.
Even when checking my status, my little character seems happy. As if there was no Injury, even though there clearly is one. While I might not be stumbling, Im unnable to use my Running abilties. And my Status clearly shows that the leg isnt fine. Its shown to be quite a stump.

Have I finally done it? Has my character received an unhealable wound?
Will I have to live the rest of my days as a cripple? As a wounded man?
Am I a punished man now? Changed by the faces of war and despair?
Will I have to cry myself into sleep as I gaze at my crippled leg, a wound of war and past battles?

Or is there a way to fix this annoying bug? Thanks in advance.

Type :
Player.RestoreActorValue LeftMobilityCondition 100
if the left leg is crippled
or
Player.RestoreActorValue RightMobilityCondition 100
if the right leg is crippled

Or both if both legs are crippled

In real life, severed limbs don't regrow

Have you tried taking hydra? Also are you using the doctors bag right? You can use it on a specific limb by hovering your mouse over it and pressing E. Otherwise it just heals everything by a bit.

I think that is just a visual thing, shouldn't affect your gameplay.

Do you have capslock on? Your character might simply be "walking" instead of "running" at normal speed.

This ^^.

You can click directly on the limb that is crippled, and the doctor's bag will heal that specific limb. in your photo there it appears your head is about 75% more jiggered than your leg. Click on each crippled limb, head, arm, leg, and a doctor's bag will be used for each one.
* If you just click "doctor's bag" though, then it heals every crippled limb only slightly.

And hit that capslock. It will get you running again.

In short, there is no 'bug' here.

I hate to break it to you but I've come across this bug before. It's not a visual bug and no amount of healing and console commands will fix it. The only fix is to reload a save before that instance of crippling.

As a bit of consolation, this bug is EXTREMELY rare. In my 3600 hours of playing New Vegas I've only come across it once or twice, so you just got insanely unlucky. However the bug is not specific to the player, it also affects companions.
