No communist faction?

It's a very big loss. I really want to join this kind of faction, to distribute all the junk among ppl, not just keeping it for myself. This is what we need in the postnuclear world to survive- selflessness and feel of community

Why should I bother with crucifier Caesar? Or with NCR those ideology made the nuclear war happen?

Well, not going political because none cares about that in a videogame platform.... But, FNV was limited in a lot of thing, Caesar's legion was not full developed, that's why there are more cons than pros.

4 major factions with good, neutral and bad consequences. Good enough for a rushed game

So now back to the story which is Capitalist countries versus communist countries. If you didn't get the whole point the Story is about the cold war and what would've happend if countries evolved only with nuclear power which is why most dresses and such are still from the 50-70's and which is why most technological machines such as cars produce radiation when exploded etc.

So actually ''adding a communist ideology'' wouldn't be something new to the story. Ceasar's legion is actually new. Since ceasar's ideology is taken from the Roman Empire era mixed with the modern times and history of the Fallout lore.

Isn't democratic society based on Ancient Rom republicanism? I mean, Rom ideas was a step in evolution of (modern) western society,soi dont see NCR and Caeser truely as antagonists, the differencies are in character only: Caesar brute - NCR not so brute, Caesar's discipline relies on punishment - NCR does not so rely on punishment (at least not to that extent).

exactly this explains why we necessarily need a communist faction. Because communists are part of the game lore.

Nothing against Caesar's faction presense in the game (unless you think shooting straight into their face on sight is expression against them to be part of the game)

In my both walkthroughs I can't decide between NCR and Caesar. Yes NCR is better than Caesar, but still they are jerks.

My first walkthrough was for MrHouse, and second I will do for Yes Man (independent)

The state has full control of resources and the means of production . And Ceasar assimilates tribes he takes over to have a collectivist mind set and give all the people the same goals and ideals (the only way communism can ever work, you can't have free will).

Yes, he's also a military dictator, but his society is a collectivist one that is the closest to communist in fallout. He's kind of like the USSR under Stalin. Unbeatable military force with devout soldiers who will fight til death when ordered to do so.

Let us be certain: Caesar'Legion is representative of old Rom.
Saying Caesar is closest to UdSSR is same like saying old Rom was very close to UdSSR. Well, Rom had brave soldiers like UdSSR, but that does not mean they are the closest factions. If taken just military, every faction is same (has his leaders and heroes).

But what I am talking about, is ideology. Caesar's ideology is an ideology of military dictatorship - doing sports, killing scum, respecting the Dictator, following orders. I don's see him complaining about taxes, corporations and such. Communism as ideology is first of all to forget about private property and Caesar doesn't care

The NCR is also a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ too scared to help citizens paying them to protect them. They don't even have enough balls to go after junkies. And to be honnest when you listen to what Ceasar has to say he makes some pretty good points on why the NCR is too weak to protect the Mojave.
