Music from the Game Randomly Playing on Desktop?
Just got a new computer and installed all my games on it (including New Vegas) and on occasion some of the music starts playing whenever I start a game, not even Fallout. I actually haven't even played New Vegas on this computer yet. First time it started I was launching GTA 5 and it just did it again on Black Ops 1. Nothing Fallout related in the task manager or anything, any ideas?

Literally just started up BO1 and Heartaches by the Number starts playing and the only way to make it stop is to restart the computer
why does it do this?

Ok I have had something similar and weird to this happen today. I came to my computer and it was already on. I remembered turning it off yesterday. I logged in and there is this blank playlist of three fallout new Vegas songs all unnamed and the playlist was unnamed too.
All the songs just said "The Title" and "The Author". After looking in the files the names of the songs were "Ain't That A Kick In the Head", "Big Iron " and "Heartaches by the Number" all of the songs order. The rest of my computer seems to be normal. How did this happen? I need answers.

I'm happy to report this still happens, and in that exact order. Got to my PC, it was muted so I missed ain't that a kick, but I went to unmute to watch a video and was blessed with big iron. Thought I had some weird western themed virus or something.
Weird. I could see this happening with old-school games, where track 1 on the CD was the game and tracks 2 onward were the audio files. Used to have a lot of fun* loading GTA original and then swapping the CD with Quake II so I could get Sonic Mayhem on the radio.

Not a clue what could be doing it with modern games though. Maybe your computer just wants you to listen to more swing jazz, country & western, and western swing? To be fair we all could stand to listen to a little more.
