What ending did you choose for lonesome road?
Is there any point in saving ed? He disappears anyway

I talked Ulysses out of his launch plan as a matter of principle, preventing further nuclear strikes. This is impossible if you don't save E-DE. Whether you bring him or not, you can still gather his upgrades to buff his Mojave counterpart.

Letting a missile fly gets you unique weapons / armour from whichever faction you nuke. Since you don't need E-DE to pick your target(s), you can maximise your rewards by leaving him behind - this gets you an extra perk with +10% damage and a +10% V.A.T.S. hit chance increase, but means you won't have a companion while playing through the DLC.

I blow up both, because they deserve it. If there was a way to direct all the nukes at the brotherhood of steel, I'd blow them up instead, but I take what I can get.

So much rage lol

I nuke both of them too. I like collecting unique gear and weapons.

That's the weird thing, isn't it?

Let's say you want to join the NCR. Naturally you're gonna want to wear the NCR power armour.

But to get that... you have to nuke the NCR.

Go figure.

Yea I'm not going to bother. I'm just going to stop the launch. Can't the other courier just return there and use them if he he wants?

Putting aside that you're either gonna kill him or totally talk him out of doing that, ED-E pretty much totals the bunker if you have him cancel the launch.

I nuked the Legion. Never liked them that much honestly - they seem like big jerks.

As far as I know, there is no way to save ED-E, but if you gather all the upgrades (and get the ED-Ecated achievement) - you can add some new features to the ED-E at Primm.

Many prefer don't like Lonesome Road, but it is my favorite DLC. I think it just screams what Fallout: New Vegas is supposed to be (in my mind), a lonesome adventure. My second favorite is Dead Money - no idea why, it was the first one I played - maybe because you get 400,000+ bottle caps with all the gold you get.

Finished LR on my current playthrough yesterday. I nuked both because of roleplaying reasons.

Although I was annoyed at the fact that Ulysses called me an NCR supporter because I have only met them and did some jobs for them in the early game. Oh well, two nuked zones two explore and the NCR doesn't hate me (which made me laugh by the way)

I've done all of them in various play throughs.

Gameplay purposes, biking both is the best because you get two high level end game areas opened with new bosses and some unique and powerful loot.

Ede just transfers all of his abilities to the ede companion in the Mojave

Daniel's a pu$sy. Joshua all the way, Then get him to spare Salt. Seems to be the best 'ending' out of all them shades of grey.

If you evacuate, The White feet completely ruin and pollute the place so, Definitely the Joshua/Spare route.

Wrong dlc. But I agree, Joshua is the only logical choice. Sucks that the Daniel ending is much more fleshed out gameplay wise (plus doing Joshua's way makes the entire fetch quests of the dlc moot, and why not have just done that at the start)

I always get those two dlc mixed up.

I don't think I've ever seen a pro-daniel post. Goes to show that the place is just as important as the people when you get right down to it.

That, or people don't buy into "preserving their innocence".
