I have to restart pc to exit this game
This is a rant against windows. Its always been a windows problem. Forever. Not fallout new vegas (new vegas is amazing)

Don't you just love windows 10? Enjoying new vegas, then game gets stuck on a never-ending loading screen so i make the mistake of trying to alt+tab, then your mouse cursor dissapears, then you finally get mouse cursor to show along taskbar at bottom after hitting ctrl+alt+delete a dozen times

then you right click the fallout icon and hit exit, nothing happens

then you ctrl+alt+Delete to open taskmanager but you cant bring a mouse cursor to center of screen and arrow keys dont work because task manager is not the prioritized window

then you hold down ctrl + alt delete then navigate to fallout using arrows keys and highlight the process and hit delete or end. Nothing happens

DONT YOU JUST LOVE WINDOWS 10? Android and ios can both pause/minimize apps seamlessly.

Why is windowed mode/borderless/fullscreen/refresh rate STILL a problem in windows? Its such a freaking joke they release a new version of windows every couple of years

Wow i almost just destroyed my whole entire new vegas install removing/reinstalling all of my mods and re-starting the game dozens of times because of boone companions red-glow perk.

All of my enemies were glowing red and it was driving me nuts

Just install OneTweak jfc

Like the other guy said, install the mods to fix the bugs.

When this happens in any game a way to close it is just to hit ctrl+windows key+D to open a new desktop. Start task manager in that desktop (won't open if task manager is open in the other desktop so close it there. you can switch between them by holding windows key+tab) and close your program from there. you can go back to your old desktop with windowskey+tab

I get the impression you might be aware of this, but in later versions of Windows the Task Manager no longer defaults to Always On Top. You can change this through its Options menu while the game isn't running.

My game froze and i tried that ctrl+win+D trick and sadly it did not work for me. It's such a small game im surprised it crashes so hard

I have run into this problem occasionally and ctrl+alt+del > logoff did the trick. Not quite as bad as a hard reboot :)

Win + L often works when nothing else does and the screen is frozen.
