Strange "Lucky" Revolver

So I went to Nipton, started attacking the the Legion soldiers there, I went into my inventory, and i see this gun called "Lucky". I had just started a new game and I have no idea how i got it. I have played through the game twice and never saw this gun before. Can somebody explain it?

It's a unique weapon (one seperate from the type of weapon, like how Maria and the 9mm pistol have different stats). You probably picked it up while looting. iirc it has an increased crit chance.

the only way u can get the gun is either by unlocking safe (requires 75 lockpicking skill) located inside the bison steve hotel or u can also get it by using console comands

Yeah you probably looted it from the bison steve hotel in primm. It's inside a locked safe behind the counter at the gift shop room when you walk inside directly past the 1st doorway where the 1st thug is patrolling/keeping guard.


Other than that you either accidentally console command summoned it, or if you have a mod(s) maybe one of them randomly spawned it (rare but it can happen).


Unique guns can only be bought, looted, picked up, or killing people then looting it from their dead corpses. Also dome quests give you unique weapons too.

They dom't randomly spawn or can be randomly found in lootable places (unless, again, you have a mod or mods that can randomly spawn the unique items).
