Problem with TTW
Okay, so i have installed FO 3 and all of its addons, FO NV and its all addons, a handful of minor mods and TTW. So, at the end of the game when im supposed to go into the rotunda and activate the purifier, something goes wrong. Yes, i can switch it on, or have followers switch it on, but instead of allowing me to continue the game, it instead load back to the rotunda, where i am completely stuck, frozen, no hud, cant, do , anything. Absolutely anything. Its just completely stuck. No credits, nothing. Broken steel wont start.

Reading online ive not found anyone else facing this issue at all, so im pretty annoyed, as i have no way of even ending the game properly, nor activating the damn DLC

Are you using a custom race mod? IIRC, the intro to Broken Steel has an issue with custom races because of a certain script that I don't think TTW has ever messed with.

Yea i found that it supposedly causes issues, but i dont think i do have any custom races installed. I may just have an older/buggier version of TTW so i downloaded latest version and patches but havent yet got them installed as it seems to take quite a while to install, so havent had a chance to run it through

You can workaround most problems like this with console commands. Make a backup save before trying.

First one to try is 'EnablePlayerControls'. This will do what it says on the tin. Hopefully, the quest isn't broken and you can complete the next trigger. If this doesn't work, you'll need to advance the quest manually.

Use FNVedit to get the right console codes for your game. It'll be listed on the left side next to each mod. Make sure you load FNVedit with your actual load order.

Load the game where you're stuck and try these commands:

00014e91 is the numerical code for the purifier quest; the first 2 numbers refer to the data file that has the quest. In raw FO3 this would be 00, but in a TTW install 00 is actual the NV file. What number you actually need for TTW will depend on your load order. FNVedit gives this number code for you based on your own load order.

setstage xx014e91 (insert stage number for activated purifier here) - (I couldn't find the stage numbers on the wiki, but you can look them up in the GECK)

completequest xx014e91

startquest xx000802 (this is the start of Broken Steel, you'll need your personal load order xx code for that dlc)

Here are some more to try.

It may be a bit of work to look up all the stuff and test the various stages/commands to find one that works but it should let you recover your save.
