Fallout: New Vegas

İstatistiklere Bak:
FNV: TTW 3.2.2 latest NVSE & NVAC Win 10 Crashing 5-15 mins.. tried everything
clean install of FNV and FO3

installed TTW 3.2 played for a short while.. over time noticed crashes becoming more regular..
currently the game with crash within 5 mins of playing im around the super duper mart.

noticed with earlier saves having the same problem after back tracking...

decided to download 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 updates with a fresh NVSE install.. no difference.
installed latest NVAC.. no difference.
i've just tried some d3d9 dll's designed to fix win 10 issues.. still.. no difference..

no other mods installed.. done a manual install with no mod managers (i used FOMM to make sure the esm's and esps was in the right load order) they already was.

Am i missing anything?? out of idea's here....

You should not use any weird shady dll to get the game working properly. You will most definitely NEED this to run TTW https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/62552 (It's made by RoyBatty one of the TTW developers) modded or not, one should always run the 4gb patcher.

On top of the exe patcher, you should use the nvse memory patch https://wiki.step-project.com/User:EssArrBee/FalloutNewVegas#Extenders follow the instructions under NVSE, but skip the line scrapheapsizeMB=128 inside of the created ini, it's redundant.

To get rid of the microstutter, use https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/66537 windows 10 compatible from the get-go unlike stutter remover which needs some tweaking to get working with windows 10.
If you're still getting crashes after these mods, your best bet is using enboost which is just the benefits of enb memory fixes but without the visual effects. Hope this helps. :gravieye::p2orange::gravieye:

Sorry for the late reply. It was the dx dll causing it! I unistalled it. I removed nsve and jip that came with the installation and used the latest.. works fine.. not had single crash. Micro stutter is very minimal. Not causing me any issues mainly if i travel a straighy distance. Like a stutter while lod's load..

Its that minimal its not even bugging me
Having the same problem around Super Duper Mart... Which dxdll is it that you mention?
been that long i cant remember!! im sure i either..
A) removed the corrisponding dx dll file completely,
B) renamed the dx file.. so d3d9, d3d8, dxgi etc..
C) replaced it with a later dll file.

but i literally cant remember.. nsve and jip was also causing the issues.. use later versions not the ones that came with the installation.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm still getting crashes.
i think i reinstalled, and avoided anything with NSVE and JIP then installed them seperately being later versions. the DX issues i honestly cant remember what i did
Again thanks for the reply but, I've tried everything. In my personal opinion I know longer think its worth the effort, the novelty of playing both games has worn off.

Have you tried running an ENB or ENBoost? If it's a memory crash, good chance you can fix it that way.

TTW should be as stable - if not more stable - than vanilla NV.

I've messed with this for probably half a month now, I don't want to anymore. Thanks

Fair.

If you ever decide to come back, definitely ask earlier in the process so you don't get as frustrated :D
You can literally search "TTW Super Duper Mart Crash" and you'll more than likely find me there asking for help. Or even just look up what I just mentioned and you'll multiple people having the exact same issue. But whatever, it's always trial and error and this and that and in the end I'm still crashing. Also while I'm at it, NVAC is useless, it never prints out an error message for me. And yes I'm using I was using it "properly". I could go on but I'm afraid I might bust a blood vessel.

Don't want to argue with you, but I don't see anything recent aside from this thread on Google, and in the Steam forums all I see are a couple of posts in other threads including this one - an almost 2-year-old thread. Looking at your post history on Steam, this is literally the first time you are asking for help.

You have to start your own thread asking for specific help if you want help.

And yes, I see multiple people with the same issue - 2-6 years ago. This indicates that you have a very unique crash, or a crash solved by a very common solution since it seems to have been ironed out for most people with TTW 3.

I get you are frustrated and totally agree with your decision to give up on it, but the frustration seems to be largely of your own design.

Let's be fair - I get the same crash at Super Duper. It doesn't happen ALL the time, but half of the time I visit, I have crashed.

Random thought: The install time of TTW seems to vary wildly depending on your brand of CPU.

Could the crashes be as simple as
AMD - crash
Intel - No crash?

Weird. Looking back at old threads, it occurs in the base game (FO3) too.

Must be something well broken. Still weird how infrequent it is.

Really? Huh. Must be something TTW couldn't fix, even with the great omnipotent Roy Batty.
