DON'T, I REPEAT DON'T GET NEW VEGAS ON PS3
i got in my local gameshop for only £3.50

"£3.50 ? thats a bargain!" i thought to myself...oh what a horrible mistake it was...it was too good to be true, the game has A LOT of issues on ps3 and thats WITHOUT any DLC it hear is pretty much destroys the game if you try and download any DLC on ps3 though i haven't tested that yet

so don't be fallout my the prices, always go for quality over bargains

When I was younger, I always speedrun the game.

Not the nicest way to play but an interesting way, it reminds me of the timer in Fallout 1.
I always imagine that the more you wait, the legion broke the Mojave by their army being so large that the FPS dropped.

As a result, I always finished the game and some of its DLCs under the level 20 or 15.

Only difference from the GOG version and Steam is that it has Large Address Awareness (4GB usage) already set on the .exe. Other than that I don't believe there is a difference beyond having no Steamworks DRM attached to it.

I'd say the advice is "DON'T GET BETHESDA GAMES ON CONSOLES!", given the inability to thoroughly mod and fix them. But maybe that's just me.
personally i'd just say "don't get consoles", as a general rule

I like FNV on the PS3 I have the essentials edition it actually works fine for me all the DLC is installed I was able to use it and finish the game. I think the only real issue I had was that game froze at the loading screen a few times but other than that it was fun to play

just saying

my fallout NV ps3 version worked fine
you say that but how long can you play it before it freezes or the fps rate drops ?

Playing any Bethesda engine game on Playstation is usually a bad idea.

I think Oblivion was the sole exception.
well skyrim has gottan a lot better over the years
