Johnny Guitar always plays when something bad is about to show up, so I'm gonna say Big Iron takes this win

Big Irons plays. That’s just it. It’s perfect. It’s unbeatable. It makes you hit home any time. It’s a masterpiece, a real stroke of genius. Marty cracked the code on the perfect song. One that tells story while being catchy as hell. It’s a holy song, and will play at any time and where and sound just as good.

They're both good, or rather, after playing this game for far too long, I enjoy listening to them both regardless.

But I do feel Big Iron is more fun, has a better tune to it, more upbeat, puts a smile on your face while you perforate geckos. Johnny Guitar is rather melancholy, slow and sad, makes you contemplate the depraved situation of humanity.

I prefer Big Iron to Johnny Guitar. As far as all the songs on the New Vegas radio go, I think It's a Sin to Tell a Lie, Heartaches by the Number, and Begin Again are better than either of those.
