How I install NVAC for Fallout New Vegas?
I think I'm a bit confused by the description. I recently copied the .dll files from NVSE into steam apps/ common/ FalloutNewVegas and ran it. It worked fine, I just don't know where I'm suppose to put NVAC. Does it go into the directory or what? I downloaded the folder to my desktop, now I'm just figuring out where to put it. does the entire folder go into FalloutNewVegas/ Data? I'm sorry about this, it's my first time doing this sort of thing and I want to get it right.

you have to put it (nvac.dll) in the NVSE plugins folder

in my case for example it's;

D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\NVSE\Plugins

Alrighty, so that's it I think. From what I've gathered, all I should have done was just move the NVSE folder with all it's contents (plugins/ nvac.dll) to Data. So it would be like this for me:

C:\Saved Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data

And after adding in the NVAC, it would be:

C:\Saved Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\NVSE\Plugins

Within the Plugins would be nvac.dll which came from the folder I had downloaded from Nexus. The folder was named NVAC - New Vegas Anti Crash-53635-7-5-1-0

Sorry, I'm just making sure I got everything correctly in order. I tend to over think things like this when they aren't step by step specific. Thanks for the help!

That should be it.

BTW when you said you moved all the nvse content; the nvse content downloaded from silver lock should be in the game's root directory.

I read that pinned post about the fixes and stability for the game, so I made sure I installed NVSE before nvac. I downloaded nvse_5_0_beta2 (stable version), extracted the files with 7-zip, and moved all the .dll files and nvse_loader_.exe to C:\Saved Games\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas

I pressed the ~ key and typed GetNVSEVersion, or something like that, and up came Version 5
