Unable to ask for Rey's brain for Rex? (SOLVED!!! - Due to being dumb)

I have Rex as a companion now but if i try to ask old lady gibson for Rey's brain for free (Bartor of 60 or 70? Can't remember) Is this a bug or something? Or am i an idiot? I just really don't wanna straight up kill Rey.

Edit: I have solved this, i just have to talk to Doctor Henry first, i am such a idiot.

Rey is not an official companion, he comes from a mod. So no one can tell you anything unless someone elase also uses that mod. So you'd be better off asking the question in the mod thread, not here.

I'm sorry, but i accidentally had a typo that said i had rey as a companion, it ment to be Rex, and i actually solved it myself.

I'm not sure thats a typo so much as a mental slip.

also I generally give him Violetta's brain cuz I had it in my pack which I suppose is odd considering but hey.

its also why Primm's sherrif is a robot. 30 Science skill or walk all over the wastes....click.
