Video about how to use the above
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S6cpCwTezE
it wil focus on skyrim but the process is the same for FNV
i would suggest mergeing like with like for easier updating eg:
wepons in one merge
armour in another
quests in a third etc
i have used this program several times and it works like a charm and allows you to have as many mods as you want bypasising the engine limits
good luck and have fun!
EDIT:this is coppied word for word from another user with the same question
The soft limit is the 4GB memory limit in regards to added/improved textures and models and stability issues due to piling (poorly written) scripts on top of scripts. You can merge 500 armor and weapon mods into two plugins and be fine. You can put 2 relatively small but heavily scripted mods together and crash 5 times a minute. Dealing with the soft limit is a matter of common sense and adding things one step at the time.
