"No Disk In Drive, Please insert disc into Drive F:"
So I recently dusted off FNV again hoping to play a modded playthrough, I followed EssArrBee's F&L guide for base setup and then made a few changes at the end, as I have done before, when finished, I had only 121 plugins total activated, not counting ones that were deactivated from and merged when i made a bash patch. However, despite having an incredibly stable game at first, I somehow ended up with an error I had NEVER encountered in my 5 years playing and modding this game, and I thought I'd seen them all, especially considering I have done this exact setup before without ever receiving this error.

So whenever I enter the schoolhouse in Goodsprings, the game crashes (although occasionally it displays the error and stills play, but usually it crashes) and shows a message saying "No Disk In Drive, please insert a disc into Drive F:" Now the strangest thing is, I DO NOT have a drive F, no where, not one my flash drives, not a virtual drive, nothing, there doesn't exist an F drive on my PC yet, so this is very strange. Some other people I saw were being told they were running out of memory, but this also seems unlikely seeing as I had a completely stable game without this error and even with slightly more plugins that I had gotten to 10+ h of playtime in using this same setup, I redid a merge, re-patched everything, the usual, and then upon starting a new game, this error seems to be present no matter what I do, and like I said, I had NEVER seen this error before, not once in the 5 years i've been modding and playing FNV.

I have 121 plugins at the moment, a bashes patch, several merged plugins, ENBoost and the 4GB updater, and this error will not go away. I doubt that it will only occur at the schoolhouse if I continued on to other places, but I can't invest in a new playthrough only to find out it's broken later so for now, it's only the schoolhouse causing this issue. Does anybody know why this might be happening and how I might be able to fix it? It's driving me insane and making me seriously consider giving up on this game finally, despite it being one my favourites, I thought I had deciphered how to circumnavigate all the big errors and CTD causes from all my previous modding sessions, and now I'm faced with an error I had never seen before and that I cannot explain. I love this game, I want to keep playing, but this is exhausting, anybody, PLEASE help me out. . . :(

-.- Gee, thanks for the help pal. Assuming for a moment that wasn't just a joke, I DID disable all plugins and go through the list to see if I could pin point what mods were causing it, and what happend was I got the end of the plugins and the error was gone every time I tested it. So I thought it was fine, and continued playing and then the error comes back randomly later on in the playthrough.

Restart Steam, or try running Steam as administrator.

Didn't know helping people was consider trolling.

Anyways, have you verify the game files?

Apologies, I've gotten a lot of trolling in these forums before, it wasn't clear if you were serious or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with me. Thanks. And yes, I did. Ultimately, I'm probably just gonna redo EssArrBee's Guide and see if it alone has any errors, which it shouldn't.
