if you dont have any mods installed, just check file cache integrity
if you do, might as well install the community sound patch for better sound effects

it shouldn't conflict, which ever is later in the load order should be the one that gets the sound pick
however, im serious about the whole "only if you have no mods" thing for file integrity
it will break any mods you have

oh... ♥♥♥♥
If you think it could be the load order do try out LOOT

It will normally organize your load order into a stable state.
