Mysterious Enclave Power Armour

This happened like, two years ago. And I've never been able to figure out what was going on, and it's haunted me ever since. I don't really expect to get an answer but I recently started playing again and thought well, what's the harm.

So.. I found some kind of enclave power armour. I know, I know, the game doesn't have that. But it was black with some green plasma like tubing, and it had enclave and power armour in the name. I don't remember picking it up, but I was in the Lonesome Road DLC (with a mod that let me bring companions with) and dumped all my armour onto Arcade and he auto equipped it. I was like... ????? but died shortly after and reloaded and I didn't have the armour anymore and I couldn't find it.

I know what everyone's first instinct is: it's a mod. And right, fair enough, that's the logical conclusion. It's what I'd assume it was too. But here's the thing: I didn't have, to the best of my knowledge, any armour changing mods installed. I only had about five mods total installed, so it wasn't like I had so many I couldn't keep track. Not only that, but I'd never *had* an armour changing mod installed at any time, so it's not like it was some weird left over file. I even searched the nexus for a mod that adds such an armour, just to see if I don't know that was somehow it, but I didn't find anything that looked right.

I know that doesn't make sense, but I also know what I saw and I know what mods I had.

Again, this isn't serious. It's just this one little loose end in my life that I've never been able to find an answer too.

It's a mod. There are no black PA in the game. Closest thing in the game is Sorched Sierra.

You mean the Remnants Power Armor? Or something else entirely?

The only way to get enclave power armour in New Vegas is to do arcade gannons quests, and even then it's called remnants power armour, not enclave.

he may mean the specific tesla power armor, it has kinda "plasma tubings" but they are blue.

hey, i still rememnber on release day i was climbing mountains and i swear i found a super mutant with a chinese assault rifle. i know i did, i was a console pleb then but still i know how impossible it is but still.
ps. you got arcade gannons armor. possibly scorched sierra armor or maybe your thinging of elite riot armor

I mean... it must be a mod. Right, it must be, that's the only thing that makes sense. But I don't even *like* custom content mods in general, I don't download any, so I don't see how it ended up in my game. That mod is a really good guess though and the armour looks... almost right, but not entirely. Mayibe it looks somewhat different in game of the photos are out of date, so I'll download it and check in game. I also checked my download history on the nexus just to be sure and that mod isn't in my download history.

If it is a mod (which, again, I know that logically it has to be) then I'd be really curious as to how the hell I ended up with it. During my whole play of fallout new vegas I only ever used about five mods total, and those were all things like multiple companions and UI mods, not mods that added content.

I don't recall black and green power armour in Fallout 3.

I could've sworn the wiki had a picture of Enclave Power armour in that colour in Fallout 3. Maybe I'm wrong.
