Honest Hearts = Almost everything tries to kill you
I think I got the same feeling I got when I went hiking one time and got lost.
I was able to survive for a day. It felt great like you just survived a battlefield and lived to tell about it.
With Dead Money it could give you that feeling but you will just be too scared for the most of it that in the end you will just wish that it ended. Great story though imo.
Dead Money may have a more intricate story, but the gameplay is a huge turn-off for most players. It forces the player into a sort of "survivalist" mindset, and provides instant death across the entirety of its DLC.
I always feel very underwhelmed with Honest hearts and feel like it was the one obsidian tried the least hardest on. Surprised at how many people are praising it so much.
Dead Money is excellently written, but the mixup in terms of gameplay relegates it to a second place. Lonesome Road is okay, but it borrows too much from the playbook of corridor shooters. Not what I'm looking for when I play FNV.
As for Old World Blues, it's so far removed from what playing FNV feels like that I sometimes wonder if it was secretly outsourced to Bethesda. It has no clue what it wants to be and is a hot mess no matter which direction you look at it from.
I liked the story of dead money, and the difficult gameplay. It's my favorite so far.
Dead money is VERY tedious and not really that fun.
It is cool learning more about father elijah and getting gold but the actual dlc isnt even good.
Hh is the big and free running in the national park so it opposite in game play. Story may less heart catching but still good. Connect to main game than dm too.
- disappointing characters and story
- Very short if exploration isn't accounted for
Dead money if you like story
- awful gameplay and variety
Both are terrible imo but Honest Hearts should be considered for purchase
