Story wise, Dead Money. Gameplay wise, Honest Hearts.

Dead Money = Survival Horror Fallout Version

Honest Hearts = Almost everything tries to kill you

Dead money lasts and is my favorite. Honest hearts is rediculously short. Honest hearts adds .45 pistols and smgs while dead money brings the BAR, bear trap fist, holorifle, and more. I'd say Dead Money

Honest Hearts does give you this feeling of accomplishment. Sort of a badge of honor when you play it on very hard with hardcore mode on and with JSawyer installed.

I think I got the same feeling I got when I went hiking one time and got lost.

I was able to survive for a day. It felt great like you just survived a battlefield and lived to tell about it.

With Dead Money it could give you that feeling but you will just be too scared for the most of it that in the end you will just wish that it ended. Great story though imo.

Honest Hearts is the most well-rounded DLC for New Vegas. It provides some of the best grey morality out of all the DLC, has the best scenery in the game, the best backstory, and has one of the best written characters in the New Vegas.

Dead Money may have a more intricate story, but the gameplay is a huge turn-off for most players. It forces the player into a sort of "survivalist" mindset, and provides instant death across the entirety of its DLC.

Honest hearts is the worst dlc in my opinion, easiest and shortest one while dead money is my favourite and it's the hardest.

I always feel very underwhelmed with Honest hearts and feel like it was the one obsidian tried the least hardest on. Surprised at how many people are praising it so much.

It's the fact that they didn't try so hard and just did what they'd already done so well that makes it my favorite. The experimental route that they went with the other DLC was much to their detriment.

Dead Money is excellently written, but the mixup in terms of gameplay relegates it to a second place. Lonesome Road is okay, but it borrows too much from the playbook of corridor shooters. Not what I'm looking for when I play FNV.

As for Old World Blues, it's so far removed from what playing FNV feels like that I sometimes wonder if it was secretly outsourced to Bethesda. It has no clue what it wants to be and is a hot mess no matter which direction you look at it from.

I've only played Honest hearts, dead money and now I'm on the middle of old world blues, and my least favorite so far is honest hearts. I'm still missing lonesome road, but I will play it soon.

I liked the story of dead money, and the difficult gameplay. It's my favorite so far.

Honest hearts for sure man, its a very fun dlc/

Dead money is VERY tedious and not really that fun.
It is cool learning more about father elijah and getting gold but the actual dlc isnt even good.

Even the story is the strongest point of dm, you should preview the gameplay in youtube first. This dark and stressful style may ruin the mood if you can't stand it tho.

Hh is the big and free running in the national park so it opposite in game play. Story may less heart catching but still good. Connect to main game than dm too.

Honest hearts if you like exploring

- disappointing characters and story
- Very short if exploration isn't accounted for

Dead money if you like story

- awful gameplay and variety

Both are terrible imo but Honest Hearts should be considered for purchase
