Sooooo why did Cass and Ranger Ghost just attack me?

I went to the Mojave Outpost for the first time in forever, and even though I'm a member of the Legion, as long as I'm wearing an NCR uniform, nobody attacks me here....except Cass and Ranger Ghost. I don't get it. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks!

Those people can see through your disguise, so they'll attack if you aren't on good terms with the NCR.
There are also many other faction NPCs that are like that.

Any officer rank of a faction can see through your disguise. Ghost and Cass are of that rank. Disguises only work for getting past the peons

That happened to me when I was disguised as a Powder Ganger. One of the ranked ganger guarding the entrance detected me and opened fire. Luckily, I managed to kill all Powder Gangers.
