Willow A better Companion Experience issue
Hello,
I installed Willow from the nexus and this really weird texture error occurs, and it's never happened before. I've tried everything including, reinstalling, archive invalidation, 4GBFNV etc. It's an issue with Willow's body where, I'm up close and it looks fine. But when I step back her body becomes pixelated and wonky. If anyone else has this error, or if you know how to fix it, help would be great. Thanks!

So it's only on Willow's body?
Which body mods are you using?
Have you checked the description section of willow's mod site for incompatible body types?
Or checked the posts section of Willows mod for people with similar issues?

It happened on her face too, but FCO Fixed that. And as far as I'm concerned, I'm not using any female body mods. I'm using the HD male so I could Tattoo my Male character but that's about it. The Pixel thing was also happening when the game was (Almost) full vanilla too, so I dunno.....

The usual way to see if a mod is conflicting would be to disable all mods start a new game as a test and see if that issue is still there.

If not there then add mods 1 or 2 at a time until the issue reappears ... so that you can identify which mod has introduced the issue. Then remove that mod or ask at mod post for ways around the issue.

Alright I'll try that, thanks

So after I uninstalled all my mods, Her head was having the same weird pixelated textures, and they were up front and frome farther away. I'll try a fresh install and see if it works then.

The issue you may need to look at is trying to reinstall back to vanilla. As mods can leave scripts, or other guff in your documents, or combined files. I have had it in several cases and needed to reinstall and it can be quite involved to make sure you won't have the same issue.

I know of sites that recommend on steps for Skyrim which has a lot of similarities.
Have a read to get an idea of what you may need to do.

I usually just uninstall all folders and reinstall the game and it gives me back the default folders.

Well give it a try ... I hope that sorts it out for you. Let us know if it does fix the issue

Sorry, it took a couple days but I did a fresh install of FNV and it didn't work, the body is still pixeled from a distance. If you have any other tips that would be awesome.

What worked Mike? For anyone who is having the same problem and reading this thread. If you ca explain what you did and how it was fixed. That can help others in the future.

He probably finally read a troubleshooting FNV modding issues kind of thing, and learned about the magic of FNVLODGen... or he's an ENB user who disabled aniso but then also disabled ENB, without pushing ansio back up, so blocky blocky doki doki.

this really is FNV modding 101 stuff, but some people never read a single thing until problems start; it's just the standard gamer mentality, I want to play the game with mods not program mods myself! :-)

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
