"I Put a Spell on You" bug, please help!

Hello, I'm doing this quest "I Put a Spell on You", in McCarran, and I have to deactivated a bomb in the train, the problem is the FREAKING train leaves when I enter the zone of the train, I can even reach to enter it. I have searched in google but haven't seen anything.

It's a bug. Just reload to an earlier save OR reset the quest

It's not a bug. That happens if you report back to colenol hsu instead of going straight to the train. Basically it means you wasted too much time stopping and reporting the bomb rather than acting and going to the bomb

Just to be sure, did you enter the monorail after reporting or without reporting to col. hsu?

You can also complete the quest and gain the Experience Points with killing Curtis in the tower before hearing the radio conversation (though this is not recommended). When you report it back to Hsu, he will be surprised and tell you Curtis could not be the spy as he was the leader of the investigation. After that, it will be revealed that there's a bomb on the train, the explosion of which you won't be able to prevent.

I entered the place after informing and without informing... Without informing it doesn't let me enter the train. In the spanish fallout wiki it says that when informing, and not before, I have to talk with Hsu and then I can deactivate the bomb

Did you listen to Curtis on the radio when you entered the tower and get the quest update to deactivate the bomb?

If you don't sit there long enough wuthout being caught in the radio tower to hear his plan you don't know that there's a bomb and can't deactivate it. If you told Curtis before that you were investigating the leak, then he ambushes you in the tower and again you don't hear his plan and won't be able to deactivate the bomb.

It sounds to me like you did one of these things and "failed " the quest.

That means you told him you were investigating the spy and so he won't use the radio like usual and instead ambushes you (that's why he says hello detective, as in he knows your investigating the spy and he's going to kill you) .

There is no way to save the train now. Because of your actions earlier, the guy knows you're onto him and won't do what he normally does and instead waits to ambush you.

You've just felt one of the consequences that comes with the branching choices in this game. Because you told the spy you're looking into him, he is watching his back and won't reveal to you the bomb on the train

What ID did you type into the <QuestID>? I put a spell on you should be: 000E790F
