Boones companion quest

So how do I do Boones companion quest, the one that determines what ending he gets? I've done Lily's, I've have Cass', I've done Rex's , but I have no idea how to even start Boones.

You need to earn 5 Trust Points with Boone. You can earn Trust Points in various way, usually involving the Legions' death. You gain 2 points for killing Caesar, 2 for clearing Cottonwood Cove, and 1 for killing the Legion Centurion during Interrogation. If you really want to get it fast without murdering Caesar, spawn in Aurelius of Phoenix 3 times, which will give you 6 Trust Points, meaning you can do the Quest. Quiz Boone about his wife then what happened at Bitter Springs, fast-travel somewhere, and he'll ask to go to Bitter Springs. Go there then do as he says. It's smooth sailing from there.

Have you at least done that initial quest for him in Novac? After that, do the Booted quest with him, free the captured soldiers in Nelson, and uncover the spy at McNarran. Talk to him after you do each quest.

You have to get at least 5 trust points with Boone. You can get those points by:
Killing Vulpes Inculta or Caesar.
Doing quests against the Legion (Such as Booted).
Talking to Manny Vargas or Bitter Root about their tour of duty.
You must talk to Manny Vargas about his tour, and you must have Boone in your party while doing these things.
Boone will sometimes reference these actions after you do them when you choose to talk to him. These actions give 2 points. Otherwise, they give 1.
If you do too many of these things without Boone in your party, you won't be able to start this quest.
After you gained 5 trust points, a new dialogue option will be available when talking to Boone that will start the quest.
