Weird glowing water glitch
I'm having this strange glitch where any piece of water in my game is glowing bright white. Has anyone had this before and fixed it? http://imgur.com/a/K8kWi Its starting to get on my nerves.

Have you installed any texture mods? Or are you using ENB?

Have you enabled archive invalidation?
Soupy Norman Jul 1, 2017 @ 6:34am
What is that?

download archive invalidation invalidated from this link: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/52402/? that should fix it. also from now on you should activate and deactivate this EVERYTIME you download a mod with custom textures

In the case anyone finds this before noticing they also have characters in game go bald : you may still get this flashbang water without any texture mod. Had it while using NVSE and NVAC only.

https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34778/ that solved it for me.

Same. Using NVSE and NVAC only. Have AMD card.
In launcher I Set Ultra Preset to all Game. Then:
On Tab "Detail", I set "Texture Quality" to Low.
On Tab "Water", I disable "Water Refractions", "Water Displacement" and "Depth Fog".

Hey, I'm on an AMD card and am experiencing the same water glitch as the OP, but changing my settings to this doesnt help. Any other suggestions? Could this be effected by like a broken file in my new vegas folder?
this was a nightmare playing with everyone having cancer. though isnt more believable given radiation treatments causing baldness, i could live with the skinhead apocalypse but the glowing bright water with no texture is insane!
