F:NV - F1/2 Relations

I've always known many of the references in Fallout 3, NV, and 4 that refer to the classic games. But I never knew they went into so much detail.

In Fallout, New Vegas there's a Former Enclave Vertibird Pilot living in Novac called Daisy Whitman. I Saw her while doing Auld Long Syne.

She says out of 71 Missions, She only crashed one Vertibird. A Hard landing near Klamath.

In Fallout 2, Near Klamath there is a Crash Vertibird guarded by a malfuctioning Mister Handy.

What hard-to-notice References from Fallout NV, 3, and 4 have you seen?

It's hard NOT to notice the references from 1 & 2 in NV (at least if you've played 1 & 2 and have loved them), which is practically why many refer New Vegas to being the real Fallout 3.

Bruce Isaac in novac is running from Mr bishop, head of the bishop gang. He had to go all the way to the Mojave because Mr
Bishop knows the wasteland like the back of his hand. That's because the new Mr bishop is the illegitimate son of the chosen one who got the bishop daughter knocked up. A throwback to that ending .

The jsawyer mod (made by developer Joshua sawyer) also places the vault 13 pack with the armour and water can in the crashed highywayman. The highywayman is the car that the chosen one gets in fallout 2. And since the lead developer placed those items there, I'm pretty sure he's trying to reference that as being the chosen one's car.

The Super Mutants make numerous references to The Master's Army and Marcus is one giant nod to Fallout 2 . But I suppose that's pretty obvious.

Whats less obvious is if you haven't played Fallout 2. Doctor Henry (in Jacobstown) was actually present in Fallout 2.

I love carrying around that holy vault 13 canteen and sipping from it while the ending slides go by

You mean Fallout 1 (referring to the first part).

Yes, I was referring to the Masters Army in the first Fallout
