New vegas multiplayer! The mod is so far great, player sync, item/weapon sync, and its free and easy to get into. The only downside, nothing to do but free-roam with friends and pvp right now, some NPC's, but hardly any.

search it up, the server usually is either full, or half the player limit. It's usually around 20-30 players online, constant.

It's open to the public. They haven't updated any of that. You create an account, sign in, and done. Download, join a server.

I've looked at the page for a good 5 minutes and haven't seen the download, logged in and not logged in. Also, you don't have to reply twice.

The only time you'll need a key is if they are developing something new, and you'll need access for the closed server. There are currently only 2, public and closed.

I made a new account man, and not logging in with steam either. Download was right there on the tabs.

They havent updated their main page at all in the forums. Jak, the lead dev is still working on the mod and all, but took a step down for a studio job. But since then, he hasn't really updated the site much since last year. Now everybody stays informed by new forum posts any more.

Also, why pirate games? we are on steam, most games are like 6$. My personal inventory.... 537 games, like 22 of that 537 are on steam.

Ive been on pc since c64 was a thing, and i still own my c64.

i see no reason to play MP.

new vegas is not a balanced game in the slightest and the shooting mechanics are awful.
also, how the hell are you supposed to implement VATS in multiplayer?

there is no vats, the nvmp turns fonv into a fps game

Haha this whole thread is hilarious. Love the guy's wife came in to bail him out.

Anyway, on topic, NVMP is pretty awful in its current state. You're better off just passing on it until they update it to a playable version. It's pretty unlikely they'll ever do that, though.

I'm not interested anyway, at least not until it can be used with LL mods or at the very least Tale of Two Wastelands.
