I need Help with the boomers
*TRY TO KEEP AS SPOILER FREE AS POSSIBLE*

I went to the boomers so I could persuade them to work with the NCR, and before I decided to help them I went to the museum and learn about them. when I heard the story and what they want to do for the future I was like "ARE THESE PEOPLE INSANE!?" and I would help them but I need some questions answered before I do(just to make sure)

1.does it lower my reputation with any of the factions? if so name them.

2.I heard that a multi-bombing plane could be repaired and that if it gets fixed then they hope to nuke all the "savages" which I assume is all the wastelanders even if they'er good people. if I repair this plane then do they accually nuke everyone? or just let it stand there?

3.does it affect the ending in a good or bad way?(if your not sure if its good or bad then just leave in the comments they changes they made to the wasteland in the ending and I will determine it myself)

thank you, I await your replies.

The bomber will just be used in the ending. Helping them retrieve it doesn't affect your reputation with any other faction.

The Boomers have a clean water supply from Lake Mead, power from solar panels inside the base, and thriving farms that they’ve learned to develop the hard way over the decades they’ve been in the base. Once, the NCR attempted to shut off the Boomers’ water supply. The Boomers’ response was to shell sections of the NCR’s water pipeline in eastern New Vegas. The NCR promptly restored the flow. In the years that followed that experiment, no faction has bothered or approached the Boomers again which is just fine with them. All the major factions have made clear to the Boomers that they want their resources, technology etc, and it's kind of a stalement. After accomplishing certain missions toward endgame, the Lone Wanderer discovers that he may need the Boomers' military support to win the game.
You can determine who the Boomers will side with and provide aerial support to during the Second Battle of the Hoover Dam.

For 2 and 3 it will depend on who you side with. Siding with the boomers will not negatively impact other factions.

Is there any faction in the game that's not insane? They all have odd quirks, some more than others.

true but they left the safety of their vault just because the overseer wouldnt let them use any explosives which seems fair to me but not them of couse. I think that goes a little more overboard than the other factions and probably either is close to or even matches the craziness of Ceasar's Leigon

Boomer influence on factions is irrelevant across the boards -the factions all want the Boomers on their side to some extent. The craziest faction concerning interaction with the Boomers would be Caesar's Legion as they had obtained some artillery themselves...

Boomers become and stay loyal to you solely and no matter the direction you take in the storyline they'll support you - your enemy is their enemy and shame on em'.

Take care.

I actually find the Boomers pretty sane. They have a very simple "you don't bother us, we won't bother you" policy, and when your neighbors are the Fiends, Khans, NCR, Legion, and a dozen miscellaneous raider gangs, backing that policy up with artillery makes perfect sense.

Malvastor - yes it does.
They even make mention that their shelling is a deterent. They do live in the cruddy end of town too. lol

Zen Master also states some pretty awesome details concerning Boomer lore -Nice.
