If I join the kings will I gain a bad Reputation with the NCR or any other factions?
I did almost all the quest with the kings(exept "Nothin' But a Hound Dog") and I can join the kings If I want. I've Highly considered it but theres one thing stopping me from doing so. I wanna know If I will have a bad Reputation with the Ncr or wont be able to do some Ncr quest. if this dosent happen with the Ncr but with some other Faction, then please tell me which faction it is so I can see my options.

Hm, it might depend on the outcome of the quest G.I blues where you can choose whether to make peace between The Kings and NCR or make them hate each other. I'm unsure.

Make a save game before doing so and see if you lose reputation. If you do then reload the save and don't join them.

I've had that same Idea and no Reputation changes happened (I made peace with the NCR and kings) but what im curious about is if NCR Soldiers wont give me certain quest or recognize if im part of the kings and say something like "I don't know how you could join such a cult" or some other rude comment. I thought that when I got the good ending to G.I blues I thought the kings and NCR were'nt allies and just decided they were'nt gonna attack each other. if I missed something and they accualy are full on fledged Friends with Benefits then that would answer my question.

Oh. Nah they won't say that. During the 300+ Hours that I've put into the game, I've never had anything like that happen to me if I helped The Kings. I was still able to complete all of the NCR quests.

It's more of a temporary truce as stated in the ending credits depending on your choice. :)

i would save it for in case you need it, no reason to spend it right away.

Thanks I was curious on what would happen because I wanna make sure that I have a good Reputation with the "good guys"(even though I'm gonna take over New Vegas in the end decision because I dont trust the NCR to rule it. they're good people but they sometimes they just dont do things right.) and have at least a Neutral Reputation with the khans,Legion, etc. I never finished the game when I was playing it on console. so I wanna make sure that I do "my complete playthough" the way I want it. anyways thank you

No problem, hope I helped! Too be honest, The Kings don't really have a huge impact on the game at all, they're probably one of the least important factions in the entire game if I'm honest so you have nothing to worry about really. Enjoy! :)

ok, thanks. you too

I don't think so because the kings aren't a real faction as far as the reputation system is concerned and your just an honorary member pretty much.

G.I. Blues is tricky --my last run was only the second time in over 1K hours that I did not have the dialog options and was only left with the option to fight for the Kings. I had a relatively decent Intelligence, but nn dialog perks (most all werephysical) and some what below average (around 40) Speech and Barter skills, so watch your stats (Perks, Skills and S.P.E.C.I.A.L.).

The NCR point of contact is an officer (female) so Speech 50 or higher, Lady Killer and at least 6 Intelligence should gaurantee success or d^mn close to it. Last run I said fuggit and killed them as I was only GRA Star hunting for Lvl 1 and 3 challenges for a 100% and am done. Now it's time to ToTW and PN the sh!t out of Fallout permanently.

Take care.
