Tips for first time hardcore very hard walkthrough?

I will soon start to playthe game from beginning till the end on hardcore very hard.Any tips you got for me? :) Also this is my first game and before that i completed it twice...on very easy and normal.So yeah im a fallout newbie! :D

Largely the same as a regular playthrough, execpt ammo has weight, and you'll need to stop to eat, sleep and drink on occasion.

I would recommend choosing a specific weapon loadout that utilizes only one type of ammo.

e.g. 10mm pistol and 10mm SMG. .357 mag and a cowboy repeater, etc.

Use Sneak skill a lot. Learn to cook, scrounge for food, and what food types are in each area of the Mojave.

Pay close attention to followers, they can (and will) die. Keep them in good supply of stimpaks.

Know your enemies! Hopefully you have played enough to know exactly what it takes to bring down bad guys.

As a semi completionist (story-wise, don't care about unique stuff), I actually dislike the very hard difficulty since at 40+ level everything but you becomes demi-god, non-sneak attacks do just about no damage to anybody. In my latest (and maybe last) playthrough I picked hard, everything is intantly much much easier.

As for hardcore, foods and water are basically lying on the ground so that's actually not very hardcore. Finding a bed in the middle of nowhere can bechallenging tho, and watchout for those damnable poison bees forgot what's their name C something, pure nightmare for companions.

When you get rekt by cazadores and deathclaws by 50x, and you have to change the difficulty to normal or easy, you won't be act so tough!

Edit: But hey. maybe you can play guitar to them, and they will not see you as enemy..

I will try to avoid as much as possible all the tougher enemies...but then..how am i going to increase my xp ? :/ this is kinda awkward now...also ym companions can die now....THIS IS ACTUALLY STRESFULL :D:D:D well....no no not changing difficulty..instead i will start the again on normal difficulty...to get the feel...then when im done,and if im still hungry for new vegas,i do it again on very hard

Yeah..ill to complete every possible quest when discovering a new place.

yeah o noticed that...its still kinda the same only a bid harder,but yeah now i have my priorites more over water than sunset sarsparilla or nuka cola...i mean yeah if i find those i either sell them for water or if i rly must i drink them and thast it...also a few changes there which affect the gameplay greatly but still its fun which is the most important factor and i like it very much!

I'm lvl 48, i can kill a deathclaw with 1 sneak critical headshot, it takes him 2 hits to kill me in HARD. I dont want to imagine very hard... insta kill? Cazadores aren't mutch a threat if you do the owb dlc, and it grants 100% poison resistance.
