ed e quest

So....should i go to apocalypse or brotherhood of steel i personally would pick the second one...or can i combine both ? You can spoil :-)

I'd rather not send ED-E to either group for lore reasons. The choice is up to you; you can't combine both.

ok...but after that,can i recruit it again as a companion? And if yes,where can i find him again?

You send Ed-E someplace where he will then get an upgrade and become available as a companion again in a few days. If I'm correct the BoS upgrades Ed-E's armor and the Followers of the Apocalypse upgrade his weapon. Might be the other way around though

If you don't play on hardcore mode, or if you do and use the "All Companions Essential" mod, the Brotherhood's armor upgrade is probably less useful than the Followers' upgraded weapons.

i gave him to bos group,but i dont regret it...now me ed and boone go investigate the vaults to get some reapair parts for the brotherhood...so excited! :D

I would recommend that you use ED-E as a companion while doing the ending as that's the way you get the best ending

You have it right. Personally I think upgraded weapons is the better choice. As the saying goes, "The best defence is a good offence." So you gain all around with improved firepower.

I cant believe that new veas exist....its incredible experience. Boone is also rly good as a companion. With a sad backstory.

The only times I've had problems with ED-E dying is trying to take on a swarm of Giant Radscorpions very early in the game. Or charging straight ahead in Dead Wind Cavern with the wrong weapon. In either case, I don't believe the extra boost in DR would save him, so I always get his weapon upgraded.

Unless you're playing hardcore mode, your companions can never die.

Most of the companions and NPCs have sad backstories such as Raul, Veronica, and some DLC characters I won't spoil.
