Old World Blues, Blood sausage

Is there a way to find bloold sausage without having the Them's Good Eatin' perk? I have been all the way through Old World Blues and have not found any on the dead creatures.

You have to have the perk in order to gain its benefits.

Are you saying that i need to have the Them's good eatin perk to find the blood sausage?

The perk will let you get the components from nightstalkers to make blood sausage (a.k.a. squeezins), but you will still need a good supply of flower (maybe from share croppers in North Side or similar). Recipe unlocks like any other --based on skills levels like Survival (mostly concerning cooking), but as stated the perk will be necessary to obtain and process squeezins and stalker blood (I believe) to make the red paste component.

Blood sausage will heal you regardless, but is incredibly rare and more prominant in OWB than any other location in game.

As the fallout Wikia says about Blood sausage.
" With the Them's Good Eatin' perk, there is a 50% chance that one or more will be in the inventory of any living creature killed by the player."

Before getting the perk I cannot remember ever having found any ... but with the perk frequently.

Thanks for the help. Since the game is designed this way, there are many items you simply can't get.

You can get get them .... but you need to get the perk to get them. and so the choice of which perks to get; becomes more important.

If you really want the perk, use the console.
Only if you don't wanna get any more achievements on that save :)

If you have the perk you get tons, in dead money since you kill them twice they have a chance to produce them twice.

its an extra 100 caps per kill 50% odds.

doesn't even require cannibal. just one perk. I take strong back, only use the space for loot. 50 lbs of loot for thems good eating would be worth 700 per lbs. 350000 caps.

so if you take ANY perks for money or have ANY perks for saving space for money. Them's good eating would be BETTER.
