F:NV 2 Ideas

I just wanted to dump some ideas for what Fallout: New Vegas 2 could be if it actually happens.

The Dust Treatment
Now the first thing that comes to mind is Dust. Dust is a mod that takes place 20 years after the NCR ending of the game. I'm not going to go in depth on it but rather just link its website on Nexus http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57927/?

Directly after New Vegas
This New Vegas 2 would take place mere minutes after the game ends, and since the Yes Man ending is thought to be the canon ending it would be that ending. I have no clue what they would do with the main story but it could have somethign to do with Yes Man downloading the stuff from Mr. House at the end.

A prequel
Now this is the one that I think would be least likely to happen but a prequel would still be cool. It could be before the tribes of Vegas were even established or maybe even when the NCR was first getting into the area, I don't know I'm just saying ideas.

Ulysses
Ulysses is one of the most loved characters in New Vegas and is found in the Lonesome Road DLC, of course. It seems liek Ulysses backstory is one of the more intresting in Fallout but yet we barely know anything, how does Ulysses know the Courier, why was Ulysses a courier, how did he get to the Divide? These are all questions that could be answered in this game

Enough said.

Of course these are all just ideas but it would be cool to see any of these become an actual game.

I'd rather a new Obsidian Fallout take place in Arizona, or maybe back in California. That is, assuming it has to have any direct relevance to New Vegas.

Flagstaff in particular has some interesting potential as a result of the likely canon death of Ceaser and the inevitable crumbling of The Legion.

I agree with Banshee, I would much rather see a new Fallout game take place in a different location, maybe centralized in Washington state, or post-war Canada.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Legion win, or at least an NCR loss (House, Wild Card win), to see what happens on the west coast. Maybe the game takes place on the outskirts of the NCR, either up north (Oregon/Washington/Idaho) or down in Baja California as the NCR pull back after overextending themselves for so long. Who or what fills the power void with the NCR up and leaving? Another organized government, anarchy with raider clans all over, the Followers of the Apocalypse settling into the power structure? Lots of ways it could go, which makes it pretty interesting to me.

One thing I don't think we want is another hundred years to pass or whatever, because by that point the game world should be well past post-apocalyptic, and even the post-post-apocalyptic that NV is, and that's probably half of the draw.

I think it would be cool if the courier ike settled finally and had a kid then that kid not knowing much of the wasteland or what is father/mother did finally goes out into the wasteland and explores the world while lets say the legion enclave and institute lost they could all regroup into one big evil faction but each will not like each other in some way like maybe the instititute wants to replace the other leaders with synths so they control everything or the legion just flat out want to dominate them.

Truthfully? As much as I love this game, if Obsidian gets the reins for another Fallout game, I'd rather it took place somewhere else. The Mojave's story is done for the forseeable future.

I'd rather get a game set just far enough away that the aftershocks of Hoover Dam are still being felt. Where the events that the Courier warned Lanius in most endings regarding having to give up the East to attack Vegas came to pass. Where Caesar is dead and his Legion is beginning to crumble. Where the Great Khans are setting up their empire in Idaho. Where the Republic is realizing the dangers of spreading themselves too thin, and the results of the heavy losses from trying to hold Vegas in a losing battle.

What I'm saying is, I don't want Fallout: New Vegas 2. I want a game set after it, where we see the outcomes play out from a distance, whether that's the northern end of Nevada (seriously, the game map is ALL at the far south of the state), or one of the neighboring states that none of the three factions have touched. I want something like "Fallout: New Oregon", "Fallout: New Idaho", or "Fallout: North Nevada".

Or hell, if we HAVE to revisit the Mojave, call it "Fallout: New Nevada" and give us the whole state to play with.

Take place in zion. Play as a survived caravan member and stand between faction in zion. Graham's sorrow horse, Legion's warlord and Ncr's expandition troop.

You can tame yogi the bear to ride on. you can dope tribal herb to access the spuritual world. You can choose to turn zion into legion's uthopia or become another ncr's land or keep zipn safe and pure with graham. Or coexist between Graham and Ncr.

This is my idea it take place 20 years after new vegas, and in the same map as new vegas. the ncr has taken the strip, the rest of the mohave is currently a savage dmz between the midwest brotherhood of steel and the ncr who are currently locked in a bitter cold war. the legions is basically dead except for a small fragment lead by a charismatic dumbass puppet of the brotherhood. Also you play as the sole survivor of a village (maybe the khans) that was destroyed during the brief war the midwest brotherhood had with the ncr or maybe go the fallout 2 root and make it a descendant of the previous protagonist.

Yeah, no. He was the most pretentious jerk of the wasteland. Kept prattling on about some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that didn't make any sense till the end, and even then it was a stretch to know what he was saying.

Have Larian develope it. Or have id Software make a RAGE like Fallout game. That would be sweet.
