Hydra addiction glitch

I got addicted to Hydra a little while ago, so I looked up how to cure it, after going to a doctor and picking the cure addiction option, it was still in the effects menu in my pipboy, and the effect is still there as in -3 endurance

Try typing into the console (sans the quotes) "player.removespell 175d6f" and hit enter. Should take away the addiction.

EDIT: After doing this, if you want to earn achievements, I recommend that you save and then close FNV and relaunch. This should re-enable achievements.

also make a manual save before you try this, to prevent somthing like a misspelling wrecking havoc with your game.

uh.

had an instance where the effects of alcohol wouldn't go away.

it went away when I slept in a bed.
