how to jog on xbox controller

my friend is playing fallout nv on her xbox for the first time and cant run and is stuck on walking, im trying to help but cant find the xbox controls to run. does anyone here know?

Once you've pushed the left analog stick all the way up, that's as fast as you can go.
30 FPS feels like a crawl.
I tried playing this on Xbox once.........once.

So you know that with Vanilla New Vegas, you can not run or jog? All you do is power walk. It's the Project Nevada mod that enables sprinting.

It could potentially be a bug at the start, but the game is ridiculously slow on console.
You can expect 5 seconds to pass before you fully turn around too.

Is she overencumbered? You can't run/jog if you are overencumbered. Gotta drop some of the ♥♥♥♥ you're carrying.

lol I wouldnt call it stupid. I mean I have no idea how much experience you have with the game. Just the other day there was a thread from a guy who didnt know that you could use faction armor as a disguise, and another guy thought he went through Honest Hearts after he accidently shot and killed Follows-Chalk thus failing the entire main questline (he somehow missed the giant notice that says "Chaos in Zion").

Sounds like a bug though. Maybe try restarting the game? or loading from an earlier save? Maybe the controller is messed up? Might want to try a different one.

Edit: I can't even begin to figure out what would be wrong with the Xbox version, since its vanilla and Fallout NV was optimized for consoles to begin with.
