Cactus and water

As in every desert or dry zone, if there are Cactus growing means that water is somewhere, so why Bohemian did not think to let the player cut Cactus and get a sip of drinkable liquid, i know there are tunnels with water, but when u are a fresh spawn first thing is looking for something to eat, drink, without die several times. Think about it Bohemian.

i figure they did it for balance. why have wells if you could just drink at any cactus (or tree if you will). also is desert map and the game is set up to always try and kill you, hence "survival" am pretty confident there will be a mod for that, if there is not one already lol.

like i have always thought, why can i not tear or cut up a map to make paper? sometimes they seem to drop the ball, but there sometimes is reasoning for what they do. idk lol

yea its for gamebalance i believe so, too.
but the cactus should have a hitbox and it should give the player a cut.

very true, some cactus have some nasty spines

Its a good point, but, u dont have to drink Cactus, but just get a bit of water to going on, since yesterday i start playing, i havent seen any wells, some water truck that spawn random, and sometimes some pipsi, or miltary canteen with a sip of water, in a map where the goal is remaining hydratate, and cooled, u should have something more, there si plenty of vegetations and Trees, that means that water is underground, so why do not fix a reasonable percentage that if u use a shovel digging u can find a pond of water to refresh. About the reasoning of Bohemian, there are plenty of Patches can says that sometimes they forget easy things.
