Yeah you been playing on modded servers, vanilla is find map, put on hotbar, pull to hands and click.

Bro has 3,000 hours in DayZ but the second a modded loading screen doesn't hold his hand, he forgets how to touch grass. 💀 You didn't buy a broken DLC, man, you just accidentally stumbled onto an Official server. Welcome to vanilla DayZ, where the map is made of paper, the compass actually matters, and your 'M' key does absolutely nothing but make you look lost.
