Thanks I hope it works.
Keeping it turned up allows you to hear people who are able to talk to the whole server, which tends to be dead people. If you have ever been playing and out of nowhere loud music or random chatter just starts up, it is usually from someone who died who is using voice chat.
Turning VIOP all the way down will prevent you from hearing this crap, however, it has NO impact on your ability to hear other live players. To be clear, turning VOIP down does not prevent you from hearing live players using voice chat.
So then why can people barely hear me in game when its completley fine in other games.
If you hadn't heard, the game's in Alpha. This will most likely be fixed before launch.
It's just an output issue with the mic. I have to crank mine up for this game as well.
