Using wireless?
Audio chipset?
Which driver are you using?
As others have stated in other threads, simply click HELP up above in Steam and select SYSTEM INFORMATION. Copy/paste the output into your message so we can give some advice.
But... That would make sense and be useful..
We just can't allow that.
Audio device: Altifalantes (Razer Barracuda X
I just googled Razer Barracuda X and there are literally thousands of links to "Razer Barracuda X not working" hits on the 1st search page. Looks like this device has plenty of other users experiencing similar issues.
"Why is my Razer Barracuda X microphone not working?
It is possible that other software or drivers on your computer may conflict with the Razer Barracuda X headset. This might be resulting in microphone issues. To address this, you can try disabling any other audio software or drivers that may be interfering with the headset."
This sounds like good advice. In Device Manager, try disabling all other sound devices. Could be a conflict driver.

This image I think is importnat to check: https://images.drivereasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/2021-05-07_16-57-37.jpg
If you are on Windows 11, goto System>Sound>Volume Mixer and see what is listed under "Input Device" make sure your Razer is listed there. If not, goto System>Sound scroll down to Input, and see if the Razer is listed there. If not select "Add Device" and let windows scan for the Razer.
Also it looks like some of the Razer X series can be connected wired. Have you tried that jsut to see if it works at all?
In my experience in IT and in gaming, wireless in general is often more trouble then it's worth. If you have a standard workstation setup where your game rig is sitting next to you nearby, going ALL wired peripherals is highly recommended. No batteries to run out in the middle of a gaming or online meeting(for work or otherwise) and no RF conflicts that can happen with other electronic devices (wifi stepping on a frequency, remotes, heck even things like cordless telephones use similar/same frequencies as things like headsets). You can generally get superior audio quality wired microphones and wired headsets for allot less, and have less potential issues as these will just use the audio device installed on your motherboard, and resolve any potential software/driver conflicts.
If so, try moving the wifi dongle to another USB port, or physically moving the wifi dongle module away from the others (i.e. if you have say 3 wireless dongles all stacked next to each other connected to USB ports, try moving the Razer dongle to say, the front of your case, and keep the others connected in the back).
PS-My microphone works on every other Game or App.
