What is the best version of this game?

I have spent over hours in this game.. I have found mods are too easy, and vanilla is full of it. Either way i know i have survived in game forever, but when i die its always something so stupid like:

1 zombie becomes 5.
moving tires to build a car.
moving metal to build a base.

If anyone is like me i like the hard modded servers (except for the nights you cant see your hands), but i am also tired of them not making this game better. Too ME ITS GETTING WORSE.

Im seeing three different options:

Create my own server, because i do feel moderators have messed with me before.
Try starting a group on a vanilla server.
Join a community server that seems to have active players

There is another option... can anyone tell me what the arma 2 mod is all with dayz?

game peaked in Ver .62.... it was a simpler time

Arma2 mod is the "Original" DayZ. This game evolved from that.

Arma II: DayZ Mod look it up on the store. Is this the same game as dayz or a mod of the map of chenarus???
