Livonia Food Issues

Livonia is broken. Foraged food does not spawn. We have tried multiple servers. No pears, apples, plums, mushrooms, etc. Its unplayable.

Livonia is not broken. That is the way that map was intended to be played. The environment is very harsh there.

I find mushrooms galore in Livonia, fruits might be a bit scarce, though.
I guess it's dependent on the time of the year:
fruits are mostly late summer (Chernarus) while Livonia is an early summer map - that's what I call RL logic

Been trying livonia for over a week now. Been on 6 or 8 servers. Have yet to find even 1 mushroom or any piece of foraged food. Its been just an annoying experience. The other map is again just fine I do find foraged food. I have also not found a single rock at all on the livonia map (which was the final reason I began to assume the map is actually not functioning correctly). On many occasions I spawn in a field and by the time I get to buildings/river/other potiential places to source food/items you are already at lvl 3 starvation, health is low-low red, and there is not time to cook fish/chicken or look for food. Definately not a good map. Sad to have paid for it. The dlc is def much worse than the free map.

this is really strange...I also find small stones galore in (official) Livonia:
you just have to walk a dirt- or railway track up and down for 5 minutes or so because they only spawn in when a player is in the vicinity.

and yes, Livonia is even more polarizing than the game itself
(it primarily addresses vets who already know Chernarus inside out)

you also know you can switch between official Chernarus and Livonia with the same char because they're on the same hive?

e.g. you can stock up on food in Chernarus and then go looking for military gear in the less populated Livonia...

I've never had a problem on Livonia myself. Though some of the spawn locations can be remote and if you do run in the wrong direction at spawn that can be a death sentence, yet that is far from every spawn.

Fruit does not spawn, its not Chernarus. Its not worth looking for mushrooms but they are there, often around the hay bales when retracing a route. Small stones spawn on just about every dirt road and in abundance. Not on the train tracks, its not Chernarus. Plus its never hard to find a sledgehammer and a rock to break.

Most towns have farm animals spawn in and around them. Pigs, sheep, goats, cows, chickens. Also there's plenty of opportunity for farming and fishing.

This is assuming your playing vanilla and not modded. Livonia certainly is not broke and may take some adapting to as its not Chernarus. Don't expect it to play the same.

I want to call BS on your claim. And contrary to your claim i back up MY CLAIM with proof.
I joined DE 4247 just now and commited suicide. Went just outside Gliniska and found this not even 150m outside the eastern farm area inside the woods. Even made a screen of the town name so you can't claim i lied and found this on another map. So yes it's not a food problem, it's a you problem.

Um...I can post a screen shot of.......not finding mushrooms? LOL. I am very much not sure how to help you there enforcer.

ast this is interesting news. Perhaps that will help to figure out how to not just spend hours starving to death while running in a straight line.

Ranceed I am going to pop in now and check the dirt roads specifically again. It was my understanding that railroad tracks and hiking trails should spawn them. I spent much time checking railroad tracks as....that is where I spawn 90% of the time.

I play almost exclusively Livonia as that is what our HC server runs. Mushrooms have saved my life a TON of times. They are in the forest, They are near ponds and they are by Hay stacks and barns. I do not eat the food that drops, I live off hunting meat and Mushrooms.

Fruit, Yes Fruit is hmmmm. I am trying to remember if I ever seen fruit. I do not think I have... I never put a ton of thought into this until now. But broken no. It is intentional. I have to be honest. I think a player (in game) could literally live off nothing but mushrooms. That is how easy to find they are.

Best way to get food on livonia is to hunt/fish. Lots of animals everywhere (wolf is one of the best choices) and water is peppered over the map. Check out boats for quality fishing poles and hooks. Search hunting shacks for stoves, fuel, and pots/pans. Foraging even on Cherno is only for freshies. When you start new on Livonia look for prepackaged food... there are a ton of new options that do not require a can opener and help you stay alive until you can hunt/fish.

Lol, at this stage around 70% of struggling players choose
to move to a modded server, then, off to the ATM and on to the mall...

Livonia is working as intended, There IS canned food, more than there used to be
since they added new food types to the loot table and you can find
it in ANY random building, you still find it as loot on Zees, and as has
been said already hunt and fish. And yes, mushrooms are literally everywhere.
@ApacheEagle, i don't find the loot n boats as good or as frequent as you get at
Cherno but, it is still there, I have found food items in them as well.

As i said. It's not a food problem when 99% of the players in this thread say the contrary. You said there is nothing, i have debunked your claim. It's always funny to see people try to avoid responsibility and admit they might be wrong but then try to play the victim or gaslight the other party to distract.

I found 2 of them, but the third one is still hidden from my eyes. look far down , near that little building ahead near a chopped tree. the other one is south east of prior mushroom.
