or you could combo, like freeze them with the stone staff and then use the longbow's secondary attack on them while theyre frozen. comboing with 2 different weapons works good sometimes
i dont usually hold i spam it, but you're right the right click really hurts on ogres especially when dealing headshots.
Shotgun + Stone staff, is good but personally i dont like it very much because of the reload thing and its really hard to get a good headshot with the weapon and you need to be close to deal maximum damage.
Magic Longbow, Arcane staff, or Lightning staff is pretty decent for headshots against armored enemies.
As for traps, try bringing in traps that hurt them. Armored Ogres are weak against Lightning. Earth weak against Ice and Arcane and mountain trolls fire, lightning and headshots.
These enemies have resistant towards your Shotgun+stone staff since they deal physical damage. Part of the reason why you cant kill them fast, the only way to do it, are traps
Charm the big guys from afar and get both some damage on them and the surrounding orcs, if that doesnt kill them freeze them with the amulet and pile on headshots with the scepter.
The scepter is also really usefull to stagger a wave if your killbox traps need some time to reset.
Frozen enemies take +30% physical damage so headshots to a frozen enemy with something fast & accurate like an upgraded Crossbow or Longbow will drop them pretty quickly.
I rather like using the lightning staff specifically for armored ogres. Those guys are the worst.
Freeze cannons, flowers, butterfly windows, shock traps are all pretty good.
Acid+physical is good for the non-armored big guys.
-U need to shot in the Kill Box...
-Dont take weapons which are good for solo kills better for group damage
How do you zoom in with the crossbow?
Middle mouse button, (or whatever you remap the keybinding to in settings).
