It's both a fun and funny tower defense/3rd person action game that can be be played casual or hardcore.

Either way, it's satisfying.

This is the definitive OMD experience.
* They fixed the buggy headshots from the previous installment.
* They increased enemy variety (mostly with the DLCs).
* Scramble is just so much fun.
I did not really like the new characters' bantering, but it's not a big deal at all.

Its one of those games you keep picking back up again. It's core gameplay is simple - prevent orcs from getting to the end/rift, but there's a tense-but-solvable/fun arcade-y feel that you don't get as often now and days. Trying a new level for the first time and figuring it out, bringing in friends with their own presets of traps - A great game. Hope they make more in future, and I've gone back and grabbed the older games after getting hooked here.

Great tower defense game/FPS and improves on the previous games. Even better when playing co-op and the new scramble mode is a lot of fun after you beat the campaign.
