Not a bot situation. Slow at first, but once ya get out of the tutorial, or just disable it, and set the game to speed over actions... A pretty good game. Can even adjust the turning speed etc etc so able to make more precise jumps, turns and rail transfers.

tbh, its a pretty flawed game, but its still really enjoyable overall, first things first, there is heavy pop in, so if that bothers you you shouldnt buy this game, i can look past it due to my enjoyment from playing, but not everyone can

I went in expecting it to be another weird crummy 3D Sonic game but ended up liking it a lot. The progression is really interesting and unique, you can pretty easily avoid anything that does not interest you and still beat the game.

depends on what you define a good sonic game.

to me, like i said in my review:

if i had to describe this game i would say it is a 30 hour,extremely experimental, easy to platinum adventure, covered in cheese.

is it a good game: Yes, for the most part

is it a good Sonic game: Depends on what you're looking for

(if you want just a boost formula game, it is average imo.
if you want an adventure style game, it can get very good at some parts.
if you want a game where you gotta explore and find your way up, kinda like an older Phantasy Star game, but instead of an RPG, you control a hybrid of platformer/hack n' slash, then it is on point)

is it a good overall Action Adventure game: Kinda... it is very short for this genre (30h compared to some that has 100h+), there is better, but this is a good game overall.

it's a good game but far and away over hyped if you like the IP you'll like this it's probably the better of all the 3D games after the obvious SA1/2, Generations, Unleashed and Colours (not necessarily in that order) this game ranks just below those, but it does some new stuff that builds from them and immediately eats dog muck when adds a bunch of fluff that makes the overall game a worse experience. People in large part are excited by the different way this game was handled and are hoping it gets built upon that's where all the crazy positive is coming from. This game in a vacuum from other sonic games against other modern releases, it doesn't really stand shoulder to shoulder with them.

I've never played a 3D Sonic before, but i sure have played dozens and dozens of all kind of platform games, and this one, is just fantastic. In fact, it is my favourite platform game this year by far.

I don't think that's a bad thing, however. Sometimes, shorter games can work in its favour as at least it knows when to end instead of dragging on longer than it needs to. I'll gladly take 30 hours of fun and enjoyment over 100+ hours of tedium and repetition any day.
