Hmm. Just going to ignore me on windows 10 eh? Okay Ill bite.
First my problem may be something undenuvo related but It never happened until denuvo was patched in. Now ut always does it even afrer reinstall and other steps.
Disclaimer: This is the anti cheat, not the DRM. So its a false equivalent I didn't catch here.
Heres a reddit thread talking about it
https://www.reddit.com/r/Doom/comments/gjzi01/why_you_should_remove_doom_eternal_denuvo/
Issues discussed within include (edit: this refers to the anti-cheat. My mistake again.)
* Stop Errors (Blue Screens)
* Performance Degradation (reduced framerates, stuttering, excessive loads times, etc.)
* Inability to launch game on Windows
* Driver continues to run even after it is "uninstalled."
* Driver reinstalling itself without the game being ran
Heres an example of an outage that stop games from working outright.

And to you Linux comment. Really? Second class citizens are we? This software isnt necessary or that helpful to piracy.
Im going be straight with you if you think that I have play on thier intended
platform and user that do are the only ones that matter? Your part of the problem.
I dont need your launcher, your OS, or your invasive DRM. Never complain. Let them keep fudging the line because they will.
I bought sonic, I left a positive review because I liked the game but I still told them denuvo sucks at the top of it. Ive not bought games over denuvo.
I get that its everywhere but I don't understand not at least telling them it sucks because it does? Whatever, they wont stop. My wallet be damned.
Fair, but its removed and im still having my problem. Im still to this day having that issue I had with just straight denuvo.
Still if we talking denuvo on the whole, not just DRM. That caused problems to the point they removed it. Thats pretty significant.
I am also aware that only the DRM is in frontiers, not anti-cheat version for obvious reasons.
Still always online DRM sucks too and could make the game unplayable one day. (Save for cracked versions.)
I dont care, its not needed, it causes problems even if minor. Id like denuvo removed.

This debate ressembles each sega's game debate :D
Fair, but always online does not necessarly mean "You must be online to play" it can also mean "Continuously connects to an online server.".
That said, that term is used to often incorrectly and I cant confirm how offen it checks so im willing to take that L.
Dunevo still does a first time check then waits for hardware changes before checking again. Idk how offen it checks inbtween but the Idea that company can die and one day require a server that may not be there bugs me. Correct me if im wrong.
Look I hate false claims too. That said still cant defend it as a permanent fixture and perfer it not be there at all.
Again SF runs great for me but im not going defened invasive DRM just because sega wont stop. Its not about my immediate experience. Its about longevity, and alot people dont care about it enough.
Fun fact art gets lost alot. Some films will never be seen again. We almost lost nosferatu.

Edit: Btw, was wrong about doom DRM situation. If there is still problems then I cant find them, at least with DRM. Kernel Anti-cheat still sucks though.
