Thank you Sega for not allowing people to make child like characters
As a sane, and normal human here, i for one am extremely happy that Sega are not catering towards the shadier members of society.

Sure there are a few legit players that like to play as small characters for role play reasons, but they are in the minority. I find it totally baffling the amount of creepy people that write walls of texts getting triggered that Sega are not allowing the POTENTIAL for pedophilic avatars in their games.

Those who agree with me, thank you, you are a decent human being.

Those who have not played this game before also, you will quickly notice there is a very creepy audience that play it generally, you will often stumble upon fury avatars grinding with eachother in the lobbies and other areas, 99% of the playerbase are female avatars dressed in skimpy clothing etc. Yet ironically 99% of the people that are roleplaying sexual fantasies with eachother are all men LOL.

Just be warned that if you are not into that kind of thing, it will shock you at how seriously people try to live their RL lives through this game. It is basically a cosplay social simulator akin to Second Life. The gameplay is secondary

Children existing isn't illegal, nor are children being skimpy. The issue is that PSO2 allows you to do things that other games don't that directly violate US law. For example, the laws related to CP include masochism. That means that emotes like the recent KonoSuba one in which your character takes sexual pleasure from being physically beaten by sentient cabbages would violate this law if done on a child character. The laws also include general obscenity.

The most important thing about the law is that it states that these acts merely need to be simulated. Which means that anything sexual or obscene doesn't actually need to happen to the character is question. It would just have to appear that such acts are being done against them. So in other words, these loli characters existing aren't illegal. It's what you can do with them specifically in PSO2 that could violate US law.

Keep in mind that a US court has already charged a person for possessing drawn loli hentai in the US. A legal precedent has been set and the courts ruling has never been undone or challenged. Even Japan is starting to crack down on loli/shota within recent years.

I do very much find it amusing that he is calling it 'our game' when all he does is, like some others, spout ignorance and accuse everyone of this and that.. and of a game that is JAPANESE where there isn't this issue over there and they seem to understand that pixels are.. well.. not people.

Nevzat should just go back to playing WoW. Leave 'our' game. :ah3heart:

FF XIV got that one chibi-like race (Lalafel) aka Potatoes and no one "gives anything" for 6+ years.

I think he has just some mental issues and dont understand that people and cultures are diffrent. Not everyone things Pädo when he see a small char. There are still a lot normal people out there wich see a childlike char or child at that what it is, a child and not as a sex object.

have you even played this game? Almost every single avatar is dressed in a sexual way. Go to any lobby and take a screenshot... 80% are biki laden dancing around a pole.

Again, thanks to Sega/Microsoft for listening to the community. We do not want perverted things in our game, keep it clean. Thanks
