I still use this mod. I added my own display names for vanilla items, see the Discussion, and haven't migrated those to the Highlander. I don't believe the Highlander will automagically come up with names for things.
So, if you have the latest highlander version, do you have to do anything at all?
Did you add any localisation? See the Discussion.
THIS MOD DOES NOTHING ON ITS OWN!
See my 10th July comment.
No, I'm saying that mod authors should, instead of adding support for this mod, add support for the Highlander.
The Highlander way is more compatible with Unrestricted Customization and is much more resilient against rogue mods ruining the arrays,
As has been said multiple times in this thread: it works fine in both the base game and WotC.
If you're using 2K's launcher then swap to one that works: https://github.com/X2CommunityCore/xcom2-launcher/wiki/Installation
Dunno what you mean by "its showing incompatibility", how can a mod do that?
Have a read of those mod troubleshooting links I posted in May last year.
It works fine in both the base game and WotC.
Mod was made with the base game's SDK so is missing the little bit of text the Firaxis launcher looks for.
3rd party launchers are a must when running more then 10 Xcom2 mods as the game is deathly slow with out
It works fine, have a read of the links I posted in May. Have those armours had names defined?
Yes it does, have a read of the links I posted in May.
This works fine for me in WotC, have a read of the links I posted in May.

Troubleshooting: Mods not working properly / at all
Mod not working? Mods still have their effects after you disable them?
And a FYI if you use the Firaxis launcher: https://www.reddit.com/r/xcom2mods/wiki/wotc_modding/guides/fix_duplicateactivemod
Edit this mod's .XComMod file and add:
RequiresXPACK=true
Or just get the Alternate Launcher, it's loads better: Community Mod Launcher [github.com]
Have a read of these, they should help:
