I have recently updated my map With a Little Help From My Friends with Hammer to make it more visually interesting, easier in execution and less prone to accidental death. It is a large map, requires patience, determination and quick execution, and is not recommended for beginners.

That was my original thought. Now that I think about it, you are right, I'm not trapped after all. Thought experiment led me to change my mind.
Many people are not thinking of this. They shoot gel to one side but don't consider shooting it to the other side. It's amusing.
This map isn't perfect though. Improvements can be made, improvements that can prevent accidental trapping.
The first angled panel that blocks the way, make it a fizzler instead. The second angled panel that blocks the way, make it a laser fence. The first light bridge room, I managed to lose both my portal placements while standing on the button that activates the light bridge. The white gel room, I got stuck because the gel landed too high and I jumped through thinking there was a portal surface hidden behind the wall I couldn't see, facing away from me.
These four improvements can make this chamber play nicer.
Try my map?

I was able to get stuck twice, though one I could've escaped from I saw later.
Really cool to see a good mapper use kinda the same ideas I used in maps :)
This defenetly gets a thumb up!
btw instead of flip panels for alignment bee2 has portal magnets, they do work great and you don't see them :D

Instead, the player that solves that room gets a new light bridge that allows them to proceed to the next room.
Your level restarts after solving.
